Arturo and Sarah's music video S T R E T C H (original uncensored version) is playing at the Chicago Cultural Center: Cassidy Hall [78 E Washington St.] this Saturday at 5 PM. It will be opening for Died Young, Stayed Pretty, a Canadian documentary about the history of rock posters, focusing on the DIY post-punk movement. FREE!
An accompanying rock poster art show, curated by veteran Chicago rock poster artist Steve Walters (of the legendary Screwball Press) will be showing at St. Paul's Cultural Center [2215 W. North Ave.] This is all part of The Chicago International Movies and Music Festival, taking place from March 4th - 7th. Click around, it looks fantastic. ATTN: Friday's Follow Spot Event is Canceled :(
We deeply regret to inform you that due to a sudden work overload, our March 5th edition of Follow Spot has been canceled. We have also made the decision to discontinue our first Friday run indefinitely and use this time as an opportunity to re-strategize and restructure our approach to live events and live-streaming. We feel it is time to really bring things to the next level for our audience and our work and will not be presenting Follow Spot Live Art Night until we have addressed and reached this goal.
